Clinical judgment or clinical assessment or diagnosis is essential for the qualification of the disease and the restoration of health at affordable prices; it consists of the evaluation of the set of symptoms and signs of a patient, together with the data provided by the complementary tests, to make an estimate on the diagnosis of the patient, the patient's condition and the most appropriate treatment.
