Extraction of bichat bags

Bichectomy is a surgical procedure of beautification or facial rejuvenation that involves the removal of bichat bags.
The bichat fat bag is a fat lubrication pad located between the chewing muscles, the masseter and the diver, on both sides of the face. Although all people possess them, in some cases these fatty cushions develop in an exaggerated manner resulting in a too round and bulky face.
Do not confuse bichectomy with bichatoplasty, the latter is the thinning of the cheeks that make them less bulky or rounded.
