The cervix is the part of the uterus that is exposed to the outside, and that is located at the bottom of the vagina. An endometrial biopsy is the removal of a small piece of tissue from the lining of the uterus (endometrium) to examine it, while cervical biopsy, biopsy of the cervix, or cervical biopsy is a test in which tissue samples are obtained from the cervix to be also examined for disease or other problems.
This procedure includes pathologist, geneticist, endometrial biopsy and cervical biopsy.
