Infrared
Infrared radiation is a form of electromagnetic energy, its intensity is measured with the unit of measurement "Piron". Infrared radiation therapy is used to take advantage of the physiological effects of surface heat on human tissues for the treatment of various pathologies and health conditions. It is a means of easy application, quick effects and very useful; it combines very well with other therapies and prepares the treatment area for other types of treatments. The effects on the organism are many and very diverse due to its absorption and penetration power such as: anti-inflammatory effect, increased sweating, anticontracting effect, superficial vasodilation, pain relief, relaxes the smooth muscle, antispasmodic, etc. So the therapy with infrared radiation is especially indicated in contractures, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lumbago, muscle spasms, after performing any sports activity, muscle tension states.
