Radio fracture

Usually, the radius breaks near the wrist (it almost always occurs about 1 inch from the end of the bone) and is called: distal radius fracture; But due to its proximity to the wrist joint, this lesion is usually also called: wrist fracture. Treatment is usually with immobilization, although surgery is sometimes necessary for complex fractures.
