Fractures usually need 4 to 6 weeks for clinical healing of the bone, although sometimes it may take longer. The forearm is the part of the arm located between the elbow and the wrist. The bones of the forearm are the radius and the ulna, if you leave the arm in a natural position on one side of the body, the ulna is the bone closest to the body and the radius is the one that is most outward. Forearm fractures can occur near the wrist at the furthest (distal) end of the bone, in the middle of the forearm, or near the elbow at the upper (proximal) end of the bone.
