Inverted nipple correction
It is a rare surgery performed in those cases in which there is a nipple umbilication and often does not even come out with cold, rubbing or manual stimulation. The nipple is a structure that is traversed by 12-18 milk ducts and smooth muscle fibers that connect the mammary gland to the surface of the areola and nipple. The congenital inverted nipple is due to the fact that the structures that unite the mammary gland with the nipple are too short, preventing the erection of the nipple.
This procedure includes: Surgery room, anesthesia, medications (celebra and ciprofloxacin), laboratory tests, cardiology (over 50 years of age or when the exam is warranted) and control appointments for one year.
This procedure does not include (only when required): one night of hospitalization (only when required), clexane medicine and hestar serum (anticoagulant, only when the doctor refers) and special laboratory tests (this depends on the patient's medical history).
