Catheterization with stent placement 1 or 2 in the heart
$20,000.00
Cardiac catheterization is a complex and invasive procedure, of great clinical importance, which allows to assess the anatomy of the heart and coronary arteries, as well as to study the function of the heart. A stent (vascular stent) of the coronary artery is a small metal mesh tube that expands within an artery of the heart allowing the life of the patient to be prolonged. A stent is often placed during or immediately after an angioplasty and helps prevent the artery from closing again. A drug-eluting stent contains a permanent medication that helps prevent the artery from closing in the long term.
