Evoked potential

The study of evoked potentials is a noninvasive neurophysiological exploration test that studies the neuronal electrical activity, to verify that the nervous system works correctly before visual, tactile or auditory stimuli. To perform this test, no previous preparation is necessary, the patient is placed electrodes on the scalp and auditory pavilions and / or shoulder, neck, column. Thanks to this study, neurological lesions can be identified in almost any area of the nervous system.
