Consultation contactology

Contactology is a specialty of optometry that is responsible for the adaptation of contact lenses on the cornea of the eye, said lenses can have many indications, from the purely cosmetic to treatments of optical defects; they are even indicated in some diseases of the cornea (keratoconus), or as corneal protection (therapeutic lenses). An adaptation of contact lenses can begin with any visual defect, not distinguishing in age or type of defect, but rather for the benefits it can provide against the inconveniences.
