It is a removable appliance that is placed on the teeth at night to protect them from damage caused by dental grinding; sometimes and depending on the condition of each patient, it can be recommended during the day as well. Its use prevents headaches when waking up, earaches, muscle aches and wear of the dental pieces when grinding the teeth, among others.
