Partial thyroidectomy

It is a procedure to remove part of the thyroid gland, thyroidectomy is used to treat thyroid disorders, such as cancer, non-cancerous enlargement of the thyroid (goiter) and overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism). After surgery you can eat and drink as usual.

The thyroid gland is shaped like a butterfly, is located in the front of the lower part of the neck and is responsible for secreting hormones that regulate metabolism, body temperature, heart rate and calcium level in the blood.

This procedure includes medical fees and 1 day of hospitalization.
