Onlay dental inlays consist of a coating whose function is to preserve the healthy structure that remains of the teeth that have suffered excessive loss or deterioration of their surface due to decay, fracture or wear. This technique is recommended for those large teeth such as molars or premolars, since it covers one or two cusps of the affected tooth.
Onlay inlays are made in the same color as the original tooth, so that a natural and imperceptible finish is obtained.
