Pterygium surgery with conjunctival transplant and human glue (without sutures)
$1,610.00
Pterygium is an abnormal growth of the conjunctiva on the cornea, it occurs more frequently on the nasal side, but it can also occur on the external side of the eye or both.
During surgery, the pterygium is removed and conjunctival tissue is removed from your own eye, to perform a graft and thus be able to restore the conjunctival layer of the area. Said tissue adheres with human adhesive that allows greater recovery speed, lower post operative pain and greater comfort for the patient when sutures are not used.
Note: This procedure requires staying 1 week in the country.
