Peritoneal catheter

A peritoneal dialysis catheter in a soft silicone tube or conduit that is responsible for infusing the dialysis fluid into the abdomen, where it remains the hours necessary to exchange with the toxic substances in the blood, to subsequently drain that fluid to the exterior.
These treatments can be done at home, at work, or traveling and is indicated in cases of chronic renal insufficiency or in those patients who because of their renal insufficiency do not yet need to start dialysis but, if they have heart failure, peritoneal dialysis can help them remove fluid, which is beneficial for your heart.
