Surgical sterilization is a simple and permanent contraceptive method, suitable for women who are sure that they will never want to have children or do not want to have more children.
Sterilization consists of completely removing the fallopian tubes or cutting them, thus preventing the passage of the ovule to join with the sperm. Sterilization in women can be done in two ways: by minilaparotomy or by laparoscopy.
