Hysterectomy and salpingectomy

It is a surgical intervention that involves the removal of the uterus plus one of the ovaries and one of the fallopian tubes (unilateral) or the uterus, both ovaries and both fallopian tubes (bilateral). This procedure is performed through a transverse incision under a vertical incision to prevent cancer in people at high risk of this disease, eliminates the inflammation and infection present, among others.
