Pacemaker implant (dual chamber)

A bicameral cardiac pacemaker is a small device that protects, prolongs, and improves the patient's quality of life. The pacemaker is placed under the skin on the chest where it sends electrical impulses to both the atrium and the ventricle and maintains rhythm in both cavities. A dual chamber pacemaker synchronizes the rhythm of the atria and ventricles to a pattern that closely resembles that of the natural heartbeat.
