   Physician and surgeon, specialist in psychiatry and health services administration; graduated from the Univerdad de Costa Rica. Currently pensioner. I worked at the National Psychiatric Hospital as head of hospitalization service and external consultation headquarters. Former president of the Asociación Costarricense de Psiquiatría and the Asociación Centroamericana de Psiquiatria.

   Currently professor at the Universidad Hispanoamericana.

   From 1992 to 2018, I worked in the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social in hospitalization and external query. I was a professor at the School of Medicine at the Universidad de Costa Rica. Currently professor at the Universidad Hispanoamericana.
