Laparotomy with resection and intestinal anastomosis
$5,000.00
Laparotomy is a surgery in which an incision is made through the abdominal wall in order to remove part of the intestine and at the same time perform an anastomosis. The intervention does not present any pain for the patient because it is performed while asleep under general anesthesia.
Anastomosis is a surgical connection between two segments of the intestine, whether they are sewn or stapled together (anastomosan), with the aim of restoring intestinal transit.
