Pediatric paraphimosis reduction
$850.00
Pediatric paraphimosis, requires immediate medical attention, occurs when the foreskin is retracted behind the glans (or crown) of the penis and cannot resume its initial position. This situation can be serious, as compression of the penis occurs, which prevents blood drainage.
Paraphimosis treatment may include lubrication of the foreskin and the tip of the penis, gently pressing the latter while the foreskin is carried forward. If this procedure is not effective, a small incision can be made to relieve tension. Emergency circumcision (total or partial surgical removal of the foreskin) may be recommended.
