Epigastric hernia

Epigastric hernia is a form of abdominal hernia. Surgery, through which the abdominal wall defect is repaired, is the only way to repair an epigastric hernia, the hospital stay of the patient after the operation is, at most, 1 or 2 days.
Epigastric hernias are those that are located between the navel and the lower end of the sternum, the lump usually measures 0.5 to 1 cm and is fat from the abdominal cavity. It can cause pain located at the point where the hernia is, but in general they do not bother.
