Prenatal control and obstetric ultrasound

Prenatal control consists in monitoring the evolution of pregnancy to achieve an optimal level of health of the mother and the fetus with the main objective of reducing maternal and fetal morbidity (risk of disease or death). An ultrasound is a safe and painless study in which sound waves are used to take pictures that show the baby's shape and position, the two techniques together substantially improve the diagnosis.
