Apicectomy and retrobturation (apical resection and sealant)

It is a minor surgical intervention in the oral area. The procedure is simple: it consists in removing the apex of the tooth (root tip) that is infected, it is done with local anesthesia so that the patient does not feel pain. Includes retrobturation (placement of a filling material in a root preparation to achieve sealing). The objective is to heal and preserve the tooth affected by any apical disease.
