Orchiectomy is known as the surgical removal of one or both testicles. In a simple orchiectomy, the incision is made in the middle of the scrotum and the surgeon cuts the underlying tissue.
Orchiectomy can be done as an outpatient procedure or with a short hospital stay. Usually, you can resume your regular activities after 1 or 2 weeks. And you can expect a full recovery after 2 to 4 weeks.
