Pterygium with conjunctival graft
$1,100.00
Pterygium is the most frequent and well-known ocular growth of the conjunctiva on the cornea, it generally occurs frequently in the area closest to the nose (on the nasal side), but it can also occur on the external side of the eye or both.
Pterygium surgery is ambulatory, painless, and performed under local anesthesia. This is done to remove this abnormal growth and the tissue that is removed will be replaced with a graft from the same eye.
