Apicectomy

It is a small surgical procedure, with which the aim is to eliminate the infectious process of the tooth and bone and to seal (close) the canal correctly so that the infection does not recur. This type of surgery is only done if other treatments have failed, if it is impossible to access the apex (end point) of the root, if there are false conducts in the tooth or if any of these have been fractured.
