Dental incrustations are a type of restoration that are made in the posterior sector of the mouth, they are cemented to the tooth replacing the dental structure that has been lost previously, either by caries, different fractures or wear. These are performed in a laboratory, with working models of the patient's mouth previously taken, for subsequent cementation in the patient's tooth. The reason for using this material is that no metal is used in its manufacture, leaving a quality of translucency very organic to the eye.
