Periodontal bone regeneration surgery

Bone regeneration is considered a therapy of great importance in implantology. It is based on the use of resorbable and non-resorbable membranes in combination with filler biomaterials that act as a mechanical barrier; tending to exclude cells that prevent the entry of regenerative cells from the repair zone. The purpose is to promote the regeneration of bone where there are maxillary bone defects and create a suitable area for implant positioning.
