Breast quadrantectomy (unilateral)

It is a surgical intervention that involves removing the cancer and some of the surrounding tissue, but not the breast. Some lymph nodes may be removed under the arm to perform a biopsy. The excised tissue is small enough so that there is no significant difference between the operated breast and the one that has not undergone surgery.

This procedure includes medical fees and 1 day of hospitalization.
