Crown lengthening

It is a surgical intervention. It consists of increasing the length of the crown. It is performed on lower or posterior teeth. It is applicable in case of deep caries, fractures that have exceeded the genital margin or when there is not enough space to place a crown. Crown lengthening allows the specialist to gain access to and restore the part of the tooth damaged by fracture or caries that was hidden.
