Transvaginal ultrasound

Transvaginal ultrasound is a safe diagnostic test that uses a small device that is introduced through the vaginal canal and produces sound waves that are then transformed by the computer into images, this allows visualizing internal organs such as the uterus, the tubes of fallopian, ovaries, cervix and vagina. It is used to diagnose different problems of the pelvic region such as cysts, infections, ectopic pregnancy, cancer or confirm a pregnancy with a few weeks.
