Myomectomy

Myomectomy leaves the uterus intact and is therefore the preferred treatment to eliminate fibroids in women seeking to have children, the ability to achieve pregnancy increases, but is not guaranteed.
It is the safe and affordable surgical intervention through which uterine fibroids are removed, also called myofibromas, fibroleiomyomas, leiomyomas or fibroids. Depending on the size and location of the incisions, it is also possible that after a myomectomy a caesarean section is needed for delivery.
