Manual scraping by filing session (treatment for periodontitis)

This procedure involves manual session scraping (filing) where a dental scraper and curette are used to manually remove (scrape) the plaque from the teeth to treat periodontal disease, known as moderate periodontitis. In case of severe periodontitis it is recommended; before performing the surgical procedure and during dental cleaning that must be performed before surgery. Its objective is to control and prevent periodontitis.
